Sample Counter

Like his name implies, this instrument is used to count samples. Originally, it was created to classify plankton according to their species, type and development state.

The analysis could be according to :

  • 64 stations (sources)
  • 45 species by station
  • 10 development states by species
  • for a maximum of 99 999 samples by development state

The Sample Counter uses standard or personalized keyboards and uses conventional power outlets. The information is recorded in the device without the use of batteries even if the power is out.

The information is transferred to a computer via a RS232 serial port where it can be analysed.
